When it does happen it will be a "convergence" of all the indicators in the Bible.IceMobster wrote:Can't wait for the explanation when that actually doesn't happen.
What we see now is a lot of those indicators converging and being set in place. We haven't seen the kickoff, but it seems the players are coming out onto the field.
A few that we are seeing:
Israel is a nation again, as prophesied in Ezekiel 35-36, EXACTLY on-time, and the Jews are returning to it per Zechariah 8:7-8, and Isaiah 43:5-6
Israel is flourishing as prophesied in Isaiah 41:12-14, Isaiah 41:18-20, Amos 9:11, 13, Ezekiel 36:11, Isaiah 27:6, Micah 4:1, and Isaiah 51:3.
Yeah, too bad it doesn't prophesies the atrocities they commit on the Muslims in the area.
Damascus is about done, per Isaiah 17; though Jeremiah 49:23-27 indicates it may go out with a bang.
Ezekiel 38 tells about a "hook in the jaw" that will drag nations to attack Israel, and they will be accused of doing it for economic gain. Well, turns out Israel has the motherlode of oil and gas.
More Jews are coming to Christ in the last 30 years than all the time before, per Hosea 5:15, Zechariah 13 and 14.
Can I get a source for this?
"Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase." Daniel 12:4.
All of the civilization thought they are at the peak of their knowledge.
Then you have the "Days of Lot", which are arguably here, and the "Days of Noah", which are close.
"The Great Falling Away" in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 is occurring as people reject and deny Christ.
The growing apostasy in the Church, per 2 Timothy 4:3 - "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths." There are several glimpses/parallels going on with the church today, that were said of Israel during the time of it's apostasy that caused God to let them be taken by Babylon.
So, which Church? All of them claim they follow the will of Christ the best and are led by the Holy Ghost.
A better question to avoid the answer that Church is anyone who follows Christ: which doctrine is the right one?
I'm sure I'm missing a few, but we aren't into the bad part yet, and we don't know how long until kickoff, but we are seeing the stage set like was said.
BTW, The four horses of Revelation 6 are colored in Greek: white, red, black and green, the same colors as Islamic national flags, which is interesting.
Green? The fourth horse is pale/gray(Not green like Pakistan's flag). The interesting thing is how you take what fits you and write a post like this.
Also the bow in Revelation 6:2 may refer to a rainbow....interesting how gay rights is being used as a weapon against the church these days.
Nope. The Greek word for bow ( τόξον ) doesn't have any connection with rainbow ( ἶρις ). It is a coincidence concerning translation on English.

Re: End times prophecy checklist...
The Jews aren't perfect, but they're getting slandered in western media. Fact is, God restored them not because of their belief, but of His good Name. Fact is, most Jews in Israel just want peace, it's the other side who's religion demands Jews and Christians convert in order to validate it.
As for Jews coming to Christ, the guy in the video above, who does evangelism in Israel, is a source. This is something repeated by many Jewish outreach ministries and many pastors who have connections there.
Daniel 12:4 isn't about "peak knowledge", it's about an explosion of knowledge and travel. Something we see today.
As far as "which church", salvation doesn't come from a church. It comes from Christ, who died on the cross and rose again for the atonement of sin, and anyone who believes in Him as eternal life. That is the Gospel, and anyone who says different, or preaches a different Christ, than the one in the Bible is a false teacher. This includes the prosperity gospel teachers and word of faith/health & wealth gospel that is all over TBN. It also includes anyone that believes or teaches that salvation is dependent on obedience to a church or man other than Christ, or obedience to the Jewish Law as a requirement for salvation. It is a free gift given by grace through faith, apart from works.
Look at the Greek in Revelation 6. The word for the "pale" horse is chloros, where we get 'chlorophyll' which is more accurately translated "grass green" but can also be "pale green or yellow". Translators don't render it as green because there's no such thing as a living green horse; but there it is in the text and in those flags.
As for the bow: the early church used the Septuagint, and much of John's imagery comes from there. It uses the same word "toxon" in Genesis 9:13,14,16 to describe the "bow in the clouds". It's an interesting coincidence. You can get a free .pdf of the Septuagint here.

It would be nice if you stopped saying it's a fact that: "More Jews are coming to Christ in the last 30 years than all the time before, per Hosea 5:15, Zechariah 13 and 14. " and "As for Jews coming to Christ, the guy in the video above, who does evangelism in Israel, is a source. This is something repeated by many Jewish outreach ministries and many pastors who have connections there. " and started giving some actual data/source apart from I-know-it's-a-fact scenario.SoCalExile wrote:The Jews aren't perfect, but they're getting slandered in western media. Slandered? Haha! Here, have some propaganda: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tN1MkAGuVyY
IDF - the most moral army
Yeah most Jews want peace now that they've occupied the territory and are getting benefits for living there. The other side demands that you stop bombing them whilst wanting even more territories for yourselves.
Don't make me start linking what your "kind & moral" IDF does to people of Palestine.
Daniel 12:4 isn't about "peak knowledge", it's about an explosion of knowledge and travel. Something we see today.
It says increase of knowledge, not explosion of knowledge and travel. In renaissance, it was also considered an increase of knowledge. In 300 years time, they will laugh at what technology we have today.

My point still stands. No horse is as green as the green color we see in Islamic countries.

That is correct. However, translators obviously know that τόξον has more meanings (bow, rainbow, arc, anything which is arced or bowed) and, taken the context, they translated it as bow and not rainbow.

Well, the fact that I can't accept (at least not at this point in time) Christ as incarnation of God doesn't mean I don't believe in God. It also doesn't mean I am not interested in the Scripture, philosophy and, in the end, theology.Mallz wrote:Two non-Christians arguing over Christian prophecy and how to understand it...
