Re: My journey
Your point about fighting to win, I think we do that.
last few days have actually been good, painful at times with no guarantee of us staying together for good, but for now we are, and making the best of it, and, finally really talking, and more importantly, listening.
God has been with me, in a lot of different ways. some quite startling.
books and shelves are in, now I need to organise them.
am still reading here when I can, if not posting.
hana, you arge in my prayers still xx

Re: My journey
That's great news Annette!
Hopefully this will be the start of something good.
Communication is the key. Really listening to the other person.
My wife keeps trying to tell me that, but I don't seem to listen.

Re: My journey
Welcome back. You have many friends here.
Let us proclaim the mystery of our faith: Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again.
Lord I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.

Re: My journey
And . it truly humbles me.
All of you matter, have made a difference, given me so many things. Love hope. strength, belief. I feel at home here, safe. loved.
Im still figuring out my belief, only found Christ a while ago.. cant remember not being with him.
Am still getting to know him really and, tbh, im smitten.
the details I will explore but I do now know Christ as my Saviour.

Annette,
You have many people here who care about you. I hope you realize that we are only a pm away, if you need a listening ear.

Re: My journey
I will always return to the fold
I just needed a little time alone with God.
I have finally given in and handed all my pain and anger to God to deal with. Ive finally accepted God loves me, now, as i am, how I was and how i will be.
I feel liberated and safe. Loved.
Everything I am, I owe to God. All this time He was there, waiting for me to run into His arms. I thought I knew Christ, God. Guess I did, I just didnt totally surrender. Now. I have, and it feels utterly awesome.
