B. W.,

I just don't think there's a conspiracy against Christians under every rock. Sure there are some. But we need to look at each case individually. To me, this case is one of a pastor who is trying to manipulate the system for his own gain, then he cries persecution. Not too different than Kent Hovind. He evaded paying taxes intentionally, tried to hide it, and went to jail for it. And I believe he's still playing the persecution card.

A little discernment goes a long way with this kind of stuff. Trying to find persecution under every rock, is like crying wolf. People get tired of hearing someone cry wolf when the sheep are causing their own problems. Then when there's a real case of persecution, nobody wants to hear it.
John 5:24
24 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

“A nation of sheep will beget a government of wolves.”

Bumped, because I believe this topic is pertinent once again to the dialogue of this forum.

Specifically, this thread, http://discussions.godandscience.org/vi ... 30&t=41071

A lot of this has already been discussed, gentlemen and ladies. Some of us get weary of reading the same thing multiple times on this website, or in the case of this poster, thousands of times on other websites and media.
