Islamic terror groups, essentially the same ones who aided us in Libya to overthrow Gaddafi, turned their attention to Syria. These groups have been armed and funded by the US, certain groups considered "moderate" by the US are funded, often associate with ISIS, and cut off the heads of children while shouting Allahu Akbar.
However, my point here isn't to give my perspective on the conflict, but rather I came across a YouTube video that sheds light on Christians caught in crossfire. Not just Christians, while a lot, but also the truly Syrian Muslims who likewise been killed. Christians and Muslims in Syria were neighbours and friendly with each other for many years, before these militant Islamic groups made there way in.
Here are what many Christian families in Syria were faced with when it all went to hell:

I'm sure no one could disagree that such is persecution. Can we imagine being in the same situation? What would we do? I pray and am sure Christ gives all those who have died standing firm upon their beliefs a special place in His Kingdom. My heart goes out to the Syrian Christians, and Syrian people.

I didn't watch the video, but my heart goes out to anybody caught in a war zone, irrespective of their religion.

The video while Christian does offer insight into what often the West doesn't see, that Christians can and have lived aside Muslims peacefully. And they're dying along side each other too. The invaders performing such killings weren't just ISIS, but sadly largely Western sponsored militarized Muslim groups.
