I must be out of touch in thinking that we just assign gender based upon the sex of being male or female.
No, we are not out of touch -- when a baby is born -- it Usually is either male or female which is observed as soon as that baby is born. Once in a while there is a combination -- but Mostly - it's either male or female or neuter. 'Society' comes up with the rest of it. In Genesis -- God created them male and female. How the other happens , well, this is not a perfect world -- any more.
So Now we're bringing politics into the picture -- hopefully a miracle Will happen and Trump Will get elected and Then a few people can end up going to prison -- which is where a few people Should be.

Hey -- you Noticed. Ya Really want to keep 'this' going?!

Very true -- we need to pray that we will accept whatever God's Will IS. Sometimes healing comes in This world and sometimes not until Heaven.
And we need to remember that at some point in the future -- Christ Will be the righteous leader we are really looking for. That will happen for 1,000 years. And I already know that lots of people don't believe in that 'stuff'. A passage that talks about that is in Zechariah 14:4 and the following verses. Also Revelation 20:4 b and 7 a.
The most important 'miraculous' healing CAN take place within a person -- accepting Jesus Christ as their personal Savior -- Because the biggest miracle of Jesus Christ's bodily resurrection from the dead has taken place. Accepting Him will 'heal' a person Spiritually. The person will become a 'new creation in Christ'. It 'heals' the broken relationship that took place Way back in the Garden of Eden. A 'nation' is made up of individual People.
If anyone is interested, I'm attaching a copy of a paper I wrote a few months ago on the notion of Christ as healer. Fleshes out the ideas a little more, I think.

And that, brothers and sisters, is the kind of foolishness you get people who insist on denying biblical theism. A good illustration of any as the length people will go to avoid acknowledging basic truths.

Thanks for emailing me a copy -- for whatever reason -- the article won't print without shutting down my computer.
But at least it's in readable form. That's a lot to read from computer screen. Can you possibly do a quick summary?!
