Just getting used to the forum. Gotta few questions:

1. Can I choose an avatar of my own?
2. Is there a a creation position: 'Slightly older than Young-Earth' ?

1. Yes, look at the picture

1. Yes. You can choose an image, and use a free image resizer website.

2. I guess it would depend on exactly what "slightly older" means. Young earth creationists usually believe in a 6-10 thousand year old earth. But I've seen some who believe it's possible for the earth to be upwards of 50-80 thousand years old.

It has always worked from my iPhone. If you don't have an iPhone, get one.

URL is this:


Usually called link or hyperlink (because of its function -- linking/connecting two websites)

However, other than uploading your picture from a URL, you can do it from your computer by choosing the third option called "upload avatar" (check the picture of mine in the first post I made here).

Now, I bet, the picture is larger than it should be and, well, therefore you need to resize it to 128x128 pixels with <30kb file size.
To do that you need to go to this site ( http://resizeimage.net/ ) and upload your image by clicking "upload your image" under the 1st point.
Then, at the 4th point, type 128 x 128
Ignore the rest and at the bottom of the page press "Resize image", download it and then upload it here on the forums in your profile > edit avatar tab.

Bonus:
To make a picture M A G I C A L L Y become a URL you find yourself a picture hosting site such as imgur (http://imgur.com/) or, what I used here, postimage (https://postimage.io/) and upload it there. It then gives you the link (the URL) which you can then send/share with other people, etc.
