Dr. Michael Heiser also rejects the traditional view about being born in sin / inheriting Adam's SIN. I began a new thread on the topic, with a series of Heiser's posts and responses others made to him - really good exchanges of insights and ideas. Of course, the theological truth of the matter impacts whether infant baptisms are Scripturally valid - or even necessary:

Re: Infant Baptism
I disagree with infant baptism, one the grounds that it babies can't understand what's happening and that they are under the age of accountability. The age of accountability is supported in parts of the bible such as where Jesus says the people need to have faith like that of a child to enter heaven, where David mentions going to his son after his kid died, etc., and teaches that people who can't understand sin or grace like babies, fetuses, some handicapped people, and little kids will be granted mercy by God through Jesus even though they didn't accept Jesus personally.
