I really good video on Jesus' statement that "the Father is greater than I".
Why Did Jesus Say, "The Father Is Greater Than I" (John 14:28)?

Great find Paul!
He really explains it well. I think it would not only speak to Muslims, but also to those here who argue that Jesus isn't God, or isn't fully God.

John 5:24
24 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

You are not going to convince people that think that Jesus being God makes him his own father !Kurieuo wrote:Yes, sadly it didn't help here with Mazzy.
Muslims know that is NOT what the Trinity says that is why they try to "attack" it on the grounds of what SEEMS to be statements of Jesus stating He is Less than God or that God is His God.

Great video. Thank you. I posted it on another forum and got a lot of hits, but no comments.
I'm dealing with a non-trin, who claims she was brought up Trinitarian. I have my doubts, or she had the worse teacher ever. She is completely out of control on this one. I picture her as foaming at the mouth. She posted some "historical proofs" as to how the Trinitarian doctrine affected the pure doctrine of the disciples.
The she cited this article in regard to Matthew 28:19:

Perhaps she is just trying to convince herself that she is on the right track?!

Re: Why Did Jesus Say, "The Father Is Greater Than I" (John 14:28)?
In the end, it is simple:
The Trinity doctrine is a statement about the nature of Father, Son and HS.
The Father is God ( no issue there).
The Son is of the same nature as God ( if not He can NOT save us)
The HS is of God and The Son ( so must have the same nature as well).
The Trinity is not a statement of AUTHORITY so any passage that states that Jesus is less than The Father is NOT relevant to The Trinity.
To disprove the Trinity one must show that Christ and HS are NOT of the same nature, same essence as The Father and IF that is proven then it means this:
Christianity, ALL Christianity that views Christ as Lord and Saviour, is WRONG.
