It's a long con. Trump is manipulating the Dems into dropping their guard so he can sweep in and destroy them with PedoGate. The GOP won't like it, but that's fine since most of them will be implicated as well. Apparently there's an unbelievably high correlation between pedophilia and support for economic globalism. Anyway, when the dust settles Trump will be President for Life and his supporters will be rewarded with cheap, imported, trucker hats and minimum wage jobs at Trump properties.

On a more serious note, though, this actually gives me a sliver of hope. I think that Trump's best bet is to drop the hardline conservative BS, move to the middle, and build himself a bipartisan, moderate coalition. If he were to do that then he could actually do something done.

One thing is clear, NO one group, party or person gets ALL they want, and prevents ALL any other entity might want. There has to be reasonable give and take. There is nothing at all wrong with bipartisanship, as long as nothing nefarious or dangerous is glossed over on the way to a deal. Only ideologues, kings and dictators think they should get ONLY what THEY want. Course, sometimes a stalemate is good - meaning no one idea or overture obtains the necessary support or consensus. But the nasty thing about Washington is, the little goodies and bad things that quietly get tacked onto bills and deals. Other is, things are done in total secret, so that the public, and often even our representatives, have no idea as to the devils in the details, and/or not enough time is provided for careful review.

As for me, I don't think there's any running away from the fact this was a mistake. No Republican ever gets a good deal on their end when negotiating taxes with Democrats, just ask Reagan.

He's lurking in the weeds, waiting for PedoGate to drop. When it does all of the Deepste bureaucrats, Democrat obstructionists, and cowardly RINO globalists will be implicated, discredited, and run out of town. After that it will be smooth sailing for the Trumpist agenda.

None of this will trouble Abe a big. He has none of the facts and all of the answers. That's an unassailable position.
