What did the Prophet Isaiah prophecy about the Messiah to come - that someday, a child would be born - a child who it called "Mighty GOD!":
"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty GOD, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
And so, upon Jesus birth, an angel appeared to the shepherds, announcing: "“Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David, a Savior, who is Christ the LORD."
