Maybe I'm being daft, but I don't know why you're so offended. Do you believe everything everyone writes to you online? I don't know you. Your stories always seem embellished, they're not the norm. If they're not embellished, then why be offended by my not just flat-out accepting what you say? Who am I to you that it should matter. Noone. No need to get personal. I just find it hard to believe your stories. That's all.
1) If you don't know why; I can't help you.
2) Obviously not. But I have no motive.
3) I don't care if my "stories always seem embellished" to you. I'm not going to change my writing style to suit your 6 second attention span.
4) It's offensive for obvious reasons. I shouldn't need to elaborate.
5) Not asking anyone to flat out accept anything and if you find something hard to believe then you may be quiet, cross examine, or speculative/play detective to prove me wrong or poke holes my story (without letting me know your trying to do this obviously).
6) Was it the series of paranormal experiences on the Queen Mary you didn't believe, the Las Vegas shooting experience I detailed, the shark attack I had at 19, or the recent shark encounter now at almost 40 (you're from QAU, the gold coast is the surfing dole capital of AU and shark sightings are not uncommon), or all the expensive wine I drink I a regular basis while making decent bank self employed. All are 100% true. I imagine once the Vegas CCTV casino videos are released and the 911 calls you will see me on video running away and hear the 911 calls. If they aren't already out there now.
7) I really don't need to prove anything but yea, last time I checked it's offensive to call someone a compulsive liar. But like you said. You're just some guy online. So why should I care. Like I said.. the only reason I can imagine for the compulsive liar accusation is that your life is so mediocre uneventful and boring; my boring life seems made up to you. If that's true I appreciate the unintended compliment. Thanks.
Don't listen to Kurieuo. Personally, I like your stories.*

You think I'm attacking, but I think I'm trying to be helpful to you. I'm pretty sure that I'm just putting to words thoughts that crossed others' minds. You get a chance to air things out.
Adding to my feelings though is that I cannot verify you at all. I've verified other people on the board, that they do exist, are at least who they identify as to some degree. I've seen their photos, Facebooks, exchanged emails, even spoken to some. While I believe your 40, single and without kids, when I check your profile you link to pages about yourself that don't exist:
There's absolutely zero information I can verify about you. I'm open to having my feelings changed, and as such my suspicions put to rest. I'll even give a public apology, while I haven't called you anything but have I suppose put you on the spot in making my feelings known publicly. You got a real Facebook or other social media? Maybe we can exchange.

Curry,
I do not have those things intentionally - because I do not want to be found. I have a business I worked years slaving away 80+ hr weeks to get up and running ..... just to get away from the corporate rat race. If people saw the things I wrote on here and elsewhere, I could lose clients - or worse. That's the world we live in today. It doesn't mean I'm a liar.
If other people feel that way, like you said, then I will just not post here anymore. Maybe this isn't the best place for me due to my lifestyle.
The only reason I came here in the first place was to get in touch with Bryan. Since I had questions about his book based on my experiences at the Queen Mary ship.

Again, I've not called you a liar. Re: social URL fields on your board profile, they are optional so there was no reason to fill them in if they were irrelevant/you didn't want to share. Nonetheless, I'd be interested in finding the real you. I leave the offer open of exchanging Facebooks or the like if you're interested. And, I'd be quite happy to have my skepticism put to rest, apologise for putting you on the spot. I'm but a PM away.

Pffff. Yea you did. You called me a compulsive liar dude.
I filled the profile tags into the forms. What do you mean by no reason/irrelevant? I know it doesn't link to anything.
Yea Lets cc on Facebook. I look forward to ingratiating myself to you and putting your skepticism to rest. It's my top priority for the day.
Unfortunately I will not use Facebook. For reasons I will not explain on a public forum. And I would not talk with anyone on forums in real unless I trusted them somehow. Have a nice day.

Re: Alzheimers Grandma Deathbed
Well, I must say I'm surprised you're being so secretive now, considering how openly you've shared with everyone here from the ghost story, to the shooting you were in, to your shark story and all the rest. Given your desire to now be secretive, how would we ever know it was you in any "Vegas CCTV casino videos released and the 911 calls you will see me on video running away and hear the 911 calls."
Re: calling you a compulsive liar, I never did. Asking whether you are a pathological liar and being skeptical of what you say is quite different from calling you one. Rather, me asking you directly IS me "cross examining" and playing "detective" to see how you respond. As I see matters, you've done yourself no favours here by not offering up anything tangible. Playing the "I'm hurt" card just seems more suspicious.
Should you decide to provide anything more verifiable, then I've reached out privately to you via PM. Again, I'll give a public apology for doubting and being skeptical of your stories. Really, I'd love to know the real you a bit more and talk to you more personally, if you're willing. I also think many would enjoy seeing me publicly apologise (myself not so much).

Re: Alzheimers Grandma Deathbed
My Grandma died today. I was viewing her corpse tonight at the nursing home. The coroners were inexplicably delayed by 12 hours - that means I was meant to see her one last time. I don't have much experience with death. But her soul was gone. She was, plastic looking.. but peaceful, in death somehow. I know that's a weird thing to say. She is in heaven now. Praise the Lord God.

They work for the city or county, show up in a white van after someone dies, write up a report and take the body away. I think they are called coroners in the US. I saw them take away the neighbor.

Re: Alzheimers Grandma Deathbed
Sorry for your loss. My mum died a couple of years ago after having Alzheimer's for a number of years - she wasn't very old though; she was diagnosed at only about age 64. Being overseas I didn't see her for the last few years, as it was too expensive for us to go back; I didn't even go back for her funeral or my dad's last year. That was probably for the best as we were nearly broke anyway recently! Anyway, my brother had told me a week or so before that she wasn't wanting to eat, and that was basically the beginning of the end.
I know what you mean about the age. Most people seem to know exactly when their parents passed away (if they have) and how old they were, but I lose track of ages (apart from mine, hubby's and the kids'; usually anyway!) I know how much older she was than me but not 100% sure now if it was 2016 or 2015 she went Time flies these days. I think she was saved, so I believe she's in heaven with her mind restored, like your grandma.
