Somehow, God put us together.
What a gift.
Hana,

Just make sure he's not a Calvinist. If he is, it may be Satan trying to bring you together!*

He is not.
Relieved? ;)

Well, Hana, think of it like this: If God wants you to have kids - you WILL! (see below)

Now, kiddies, you don't have to do like Uncle Philip did - but at Hana's age, I was in the midst of a very serious health battle (Sorry, I'm sure I've told some aspects of this story before). But it was not until I was 38 or so that I was well enough to consider attempting to create a child. Ah, but I found it's not quite like you just push a button that says "BABY NOW!" So, the day we found out our FIRST child was on the way - was the very day I turned 40! :esurprised:  :esurprised:  - exactly. But my wife is only 15 months younger - so really crazy, right? You should have seen Liz's doctor when he found out she was pregnant at almost 39 - he wasn't enthusiastic at all. Actually, he kind of glumly said, "That's great news (While saying to himself, "Does this crazy woman not know how dangerous this is???!!!)."

So, VERY late for first-time parents, we'd had this one great little boy, but wanted one more - so, just push the "Baby" button again  , right? Nooooo! We eventually miscarried, several years later. And then, after another two years beyond that - NOTHING (but had tons of fun trying :D ). I remember thinking, well, we're a "one and done" (except, I believe, for the miscarried one in Heaven). And so just over five years go by after my oldest was born - meaning, I was 45 and Liz was 44 - and out of nowhere: BOOM! Suddenly she's pregnant again y:O2 y:O2 y:O2    - and so she gave birth to another boy at about 45 (I was 46) - BTW, the one that truly gives me gray hair, LOL.

Point is, dearest Hana - ya got PLENTY of time - and it's we who try for them, but it's the Lord Who gives them. So, DON'T panic - you are so very young! Ah, but FIRST things first, no? y>:D<

True, 6 more years before the big '4' and '0'. Clock's ticking. :P

Pray you find a good suitable man. Don't move too slow. ;)

Above all, be careful and wise in your decision.
Shared values really a must.

And that institution is dying, thanks to sin that is not addressed (like women against men kinda thing) or over addressed (like with men against women kinda thing), in addition to stress in the everyday world.

That's ok Hana. My wife and I have been married for almost 22 years, and we still haven't kissed yet. I'm taking it slow, because I don't want her to get the wrong idea about our relationship. I want her to know that I love and respect her for who she is, and she's not just a sex object to me. She needs to know that I listen to her, and care about her feelings.

Do I detect some sarcasm there? I'm not sure.

Are you trying to be mean to Hana? No, I don't think so. So maybe it is satire.

Then again, what about your wife? hmm. Seems you're not being respectful there either.

Maybe it's not sarcasm. Oh hang on! You're being mean to yourself, if you mean the opposite then you're like some kind of male chauvinistic monster! y[-X

For those who don't know the difference between sarcasm and satire, please read.
Maybe that article would be a good discussion piece.

I'd start a thread on sarcasm, but then I'd probably be accused of narcissism.
