As for the video, snopes goes out of their way to say that it had been tested already. That's (watched that video a while back) not what I got from the video. What I got is that the speaker was testing the waters, to see peoples reaction and for possible implementation in the future.
When the mark of the beast arrives you are going to be an easy one to conPray for common sense.
