Tucker Carlson threatened
I thought the left would end stupidity...
Protesters Send Message to Tucker Carlson outside His Home: ‘We Know Where You Sleep at Night’
Tucker was at work. His wife was alone at home. One of the protesters actually tried to break the door down and damaged it. What would have happens to his wife if they broke in. She was able to call 911 and get help.
So I would like to ask Ed why is this a good thing for our Country?

Here is more, is this right:
DC Antifa Publishes Home Addresses of Tucker Carlson and His Brother — As Well As Ann Coulter, Neil Patel, and Sean Hannity
How many of you actually know history and these things were practiced in Petrograd 1916-1918 during the Communist Revolution along with the demonizing of the police and their eventual removal as well as immigration antics?
Do you really expect the Democrat controlled House or Representatives in the USA to actually be civil??? Why or why not?

This is not good for our country.
Just like sending explosive devices to CNN and Trump's political enemies is not good for our country.

Re: Tucker Carlson threatened
The feds need to go after all such people - whether fascists or the anti-fada, whatever radicals, and no matter what group they are attacking. Back in the late '60s and early '70s, many radical bombings were carried out - and if we don't stop such radicals and their threats - we're gonna be right back with bombings again. Whether the police or the feds, there should be zero tolerance to group or individuals threatening people. And it's hard to take people seriously who only want to assert that whatever political rhetoric causes it, yet without also strongly denouncing those who carry out such things. Without BOTH things being said, I see a huge bias and agenda to not equally condemn.

Re: Tucker Carlson threatened
Why on earth would you even suggest that EdwardMurphy would think this is a good thing for our country?
And, just because this particular episode was perpetrated by those "on the left", does that mean that those "on the right" dont ever do stupid things like this?
I just don't understand why it's necessary to cause division, instead of just saying it's wrong no matter who did it.
We should be able to come together as Americans, left and right, liberal and conservative, to denounce this kind of crap regardless of who does it.
Believe it or not, I'd venture to say that most who self describe as liberals/progressives, are law abiding citizens. Just because the "vocal" minority of kooks on either "side" acts like idiots, that doesn't mean that they speak for everyone.
It used to be that Americans would come together, when crap like this happened. Now it's becoming a divisive blame game. It's really quite pathetic that as adults, we act like this.
Edit:
Just in case anyone needs proof, edwardmurphy has said that he DOES NOT support, nor like antifa, here:

Re: Tucker Carlson threatened
To everyone who recognized that I'm not in favor of watching the world burn, and then pointed it out, thanks.
In short, B.W., "the left" is overwhelmingly not engaged in "the stupidity." Beyond that, most of us don't support street hooliganism and - more importantly - the street hooligans don't give a [love] what we think about their behavior. In their mind they're fighting the good fight, and if mainstream sheeple like me don't like their tactics it's because we're in denial about the extent of the problem. And trying to link Black Bloc and Antifa to the Democrats is as ridiculous as calling them representatives of "the left." The guys brawling in the street (that aren't self-identified Nazis and White Nationalists, I mean) are anarchists and communists. They despise the Democratic Party nearly as much as they hate the Republicans.
You're literally stating that every American who favors single-payer healthcare, a strong social safety net, and independent regulation of Wall Street and the banking industry is somehow responsible for the actions of some street hooligan who happens to share some of those political opinions, but also likes brawling with Nazis, blocking traffic, and busting windows. How does that make any kind of sense?
It's not a good thing for our country, B.W. Why would you even ask me such a stupid, insulting question? You and I have been sparring for nearly 5 years. Have you learned nothing about me or my beliefs in all that time?
None of the violence is good for our country. Neither is the hateful, hyperpartisan rhetoric that incites a lot of the violence. Trump needs to take it down a few notches and remember that he's supposed to represent all Americans, not just the ones that like him. Tucker Carlson, Ann Coulter, and Rush Limbaugh need to take their millions to some island and retire so that we can start trying bridge the gaps that they've been deliberately widening for their entire careers. Antifa and Black Bloc need to hang up their gas masks and clubs and focus on doing something productive. And you need to make an effort to actually listen to what actual liberals are actually saying so that you can become a more rational, less terrified, better informed citizen of our shared democracy.
The Democrats should protect the Mueller Investigation as best they can, ignore the President's silliness as best their able, and put the rest of their effort into sending bill after bill after bill to the Senate. They should be advancing legislation promoting single payer healthcare, infrastructure improvements, regulation of Wall Street and the banks, common sense gun control, climate change research, and a dozen other center-left populist causes. Then they should go all out explaining why those bills are good for the vast majority of the American people, while reminding people that nobody used to like the ACA either. They should force the GOP to remain the Party of No, and they should punish them for it in 2020. That's what they should do.
And incidentally, if the President decides that he's willing to team up with the Democrats to push through any of the plans mentioned above, the Democrats should jump all over it. They have the opportunity to position themselves as the party that's willing to reach across the aisle for the greater good of the nation by actually doing exactly that. They should take it.
The American left, such as it is, consists of a bit more than half of the adults in the United States. Back in 2014 there were about 125.9 million adult women and 119.4 adult men in the United States. Add them up and divide by two and we have about 122.65 million people, more than half of whom are self-identified liberals. A few thousand of that 122.65 million liberals are responsible for almost all of what you call "the stupidity."
In short, B.W., "the left" is overwhelmingly not engaged in "the stupidity." Beyond that, most of us don't support street hooliganism and - more importantly - the street hooligans don't give a [love] what we think about their behavior. You make civility such a struggle...

Yes, because its the most politically expedient course of action. And, frankly, because the Democrats are far, far more willing to take a bipartisan approach, and their constituents are far more likely to reward them for doing so. GOP politicians that reach across party lines get called traitors and RINOs and get primaried from the right. Democrats who do the same get praised and reelected. They should use that advantage.

Re: Tucker Carlson threatened
Thank you Ed for answering - glad to hear you think such behavior is wrong...
As for the House - do you honestly think they will be civil. I disagree especially in light of their most recent comments and the stealing of the elections in FL and AZ with illegal recounts.
If the power to be do nothing to stop this and the Dems successfully steal these elections - I predict there will be blood in the streets because there is growing anger of' enough is enough' among a good majority of folks whom the dem's hate for disagreeing with them.
People's anger will explode and thus all I can say wow... how dumb and docile do the extreme leftist think conservatives are? They Keep pushing and will soon find out. There is no recourse for amoral people who do not hold to any civil moral code...
Sad, Tragic...
Similar events like this were last seen during the 1905-1917 Socialist then Communist Revolution in Russia. Same patterns...

Re: Tucker Carlson threatened
Glad to hear it? Are you kidding? I've never said anything else. Nice of you to finally notice, I guess.
It'll be tough if those outright lies are the official GOP line and people like you continue to believe them, then yeah, civility is going to be a challenge.
In Florida a recount is required - by Florida law - if the candidates are within half a percentage point. They are. Thus we have a recount. That's the letter of the law. The Republican whining makes no sense at all.
In Arizona there's no recount happening. What's actually happening is that a ton of people there cast mail-in ballots, and it takes a dog's age to tally them all. It's been like that for years. For each ballot the signature on the voter rolls must be checked against the signature on the ballot. In some counties - which tend to vote blue - election officials call voters whose ballots are rejected on the signature comparison. For example, a person who registered to vote years ago and has since developed Parkinson's Disease will have a dramatically different signature, but will still be the same person. That's not new either.
I suppose that one could argue that all of the counties should use the same method of tallying votes. On the other hand, one could also argue that if it was such a big deal then the Republicans could have fixed it before now, given that they've held the Governor's Mansion for 21 of the last 27 years and had continuous majorities in the House and Senate since at least 1996.* The thing is, it didn't matter before, since the GOP was always up by 20 points. Now that it does matter they're suddenly having a hissy fit about it. It's always funny when the people in power start whining that the minority is picking on them.
So do you really think that it's wrong to double check with a voter whose signature isn't an exact match, and to allow that person's vote to count?
* That's as far back as Wikipedia went and I'm not going to look any harder.
If the Democrats win any of those elections it will be because they overcame partisan gerrymandering and voter suppression in Republican controlled states and they managed to get more votes. In other words, they'd win because they won.B. Regarding violence, yeah, it's possible that some unhinged conservative could do something violent, but generally speaking I give American conservatives more credit than you do. I think that most conservatives respect the rule of law and the integrity of our elections and won't respond with violence every time a Democrat wins a seat in Congress.
Regarding the Dem's hate of all who disagree, I can only assume that you're projecting. I know a great many Democrats and none of them hate anyone. You, on the other hand, seem to hate virtually everyone.

Re: Tucker Carlson threatened
McSally conceded in Arizona, and as far as I know there hasn't been any spontaneous violence by mobs of angry, gun-packing, conservative white guys. I suppose it's still possible if Scott and/or DeSantis goes down, but I'm sticking to my assessment - most people, conservative or otherwise, understand that sometimes your guy loses an election, that's just part of living in a democracy,* and violence isn't an acceptable response.
