Ravi is so right. While the world has always been full of people spewing nonsense, until the internet / smartphone / social media age, the ability for millions to cast their nonsense in front of the entire world, 24/7, did not previously exist. Used to be only TV networks and (a bit slower) newspapers kept the world informed over 24-hour cycles. But now, the news cycle is virtually instantaneous - along with the nonsense and outright lies it puts out. And the younger people are, often, the less they realize the manipulation, distortion, and outright lies they are seeing across the online and electronic world. Often, even when truth IS reported, the spinmasters in media, government and political circles are quick to deem it "fake news." It's hard to keep up! If ever the phrase "consider the source" is important, it's now!

Didn't Pilate ask Jesus what is truth? Elsewhere it is written there is nothing new under the Sun.
