Ok. So going with your belief that the Word is Life,

How do you interpret John 1:14?
14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.
I'm not sure how your definition fits in this verse.

Could you explain what "the Word became flesh" means?

And, who is the only begotten of the father?
Please answer these questions.
John 5:24
24 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

Actually I can explain that... what does it mean to be made Flesh??? to be made flesh is to be made real... God said a child shall be born unto a virgin and Jesus was born unto a virgin...
God spoke in Life was created...
God said let there be light and there was light.

as for the only begotten let us look at that one...
Psalms 2:7 "I will surely tell of the decree of the LORD: He said to Me, 'You are My Son, Today I have begotten You.
Hebrews 5:5 So also Christ did not glorify Himself so as to become a high priest, but He who said to Him, "YOU ARE MY SON, TODAY I HAVE BEGOTTEN YOU

Actually,

The word "flesh" in John 1:14, literally means "human".

So, are you saying that "the Word became flesh", and "the only begotten of the father", both refer to Jesus Christ?

ok, lol, since you are still going to insist on trying to bring the fact of the Word being flesh as God in Human form then you also believe that God can die.

Keep in mind that none of the apostles believed that God could die. Paul especially lol.. Jesus died and God raised him from the dead....lol...

Common sense would put two and two together and realize this...

But then again commonsense would be to read all the facts given...

God spoke and it was done. God gave life to his words.

so by your own definition, we are all God because if God hadn't said "Let us make man in our own image and in our own likeness." then we could not exist.

Gonna have to present a better argument than that.

Let's not jump ahead. Focus on one thing at a time.

seriously you cannot even defend your own beliefs even though they have no foundation???

I mean if you can't comprehend what the word means then how can you argue against the word???

Ok. If they don't, let's back up so we can clarify this, so we can move forward.

Could you explain what "the Word became flesh" means?

ok we will go with your way of thinking because apparently you do not like how I explain them... so they both apply to Jesus... and be careful not to shoot yourself in the foot thou because you are about to... just fair warning...lol....

Again Lonnie,

In John 1:14, the discipline John says:
14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.
The word translated as flesh, means human. And you have already said that the only begotten of the father, is Jesus Christ.

So, logically, the Word is Jesus Christ.
John 5:24
24 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

Ok. As I was posting my last post, you posted this.

So, now that we've established that the only begotten, and the Word, both refer to Jesus Christ, do you now see John 1:1 in a different light?
