We're Living in a Cosmic Void!!!
Science now has evidence that our Milky Way galaxy exists in the biggest cosmic void ever observed - up to seven times greater than ANY other known void! Interesting from it's potential theological implications - as per the protection buffer it provides against cataclysmic forces from other galaxies - via an abyss nearly 2 billion years across. This might be why various measuring techniques show the universe to be expanding at differing speeds.

The Milky Way Galaxy is part of a Supercluster. The Supercluster may be further than average from other Superclusters, but that hardly makes us isolated in Space.
