My theory is that it didn’t disappear, but went into hiding.
Let me explain...
It was a giant white star. It got tired of being attacked for having white privilege, so it simply went into hiding from the darker, racist stars.
We’ll see it come out of hiding sometime in the future, when it’s safe to be white again.
