First of all, I don't agree with Catholicism or purgatory, but I found this video insightful anyways.
The argument is that only the present condition matters to man, and as such, if the punishment ends at any time, then it would stop being punishment.

But this also being back the question can't a person change? And why should it be eternal punishment do come to an end. If a person sent to death they come out and even change or go back.
