When you are divided, and angry, and controlled, you target those ‘different’ from you, not those responsible [controllers].
Divided you are weak.
Divided you pose no threat to their control.
When ‘non-dogmatic’ information becomes FREE & TRANSPARENT it becomes a threat to those who attempt to control the narrative and/or stable [livestock kept – sheep].
When you are awake, you stand on the outside of the stable (‘group-think’ collective), and have ‘free thought’.

But the strategy of those attempting to deceive comes from people - not just on the left, but on the right and all in between along the political and religious spectrums. And their common technique is to utilize just enough truth - especially concerning whatever emotional issue - and then to attache lies to them. And so, people become so passionate about what they are upset at, that they'll join in with whomever or whatever organizations seem to be addressing them, or that offer them some supposed inside information or hope, that they'll also accept the lies / deceptions that are also attached. And once you begin to trust a source, you are ripe for being deceived - which often makes for a lot of modern-day Gnostics!
