Jesus' Disciples - did they LIE about His Resurrection from the dead?

The New Testament disciples / apostles of Jesus claimed they saw Him Resurrected from the dead, and that they both talked to Him and broke bread with Him, as well as affirming that hundreds of people saw Him alive after being brutally crucified on a Roman cross. But except for Judas Iscariot (who hung himself after betraying Jesus), immediately after the arrest and Crucifixion of Jesus, the rest of Jesus disciples we hiding out in great fear and disillusion after Jesus was put to death. Because they all feared that the Jewish religious authorities or the Romans would likewise hunt them down so as to put them to death as well. But something very powerful occurred, that this terrified men suddenly began to preach in public that Jesus had been Resurrected from the dead and appeared to them and others, boldly claiming that He was the long-promised Messiah who was subsequently alive and well. So, WHAT could have happened to turn these petrified men hiding behind locked doors into the bold preachers of the Gospel they became? Because they absolutely knew the truth about Jesus - at the very least whether or not they'd encountered Him alive. And they absolutely knew claiming this in public carried great risk of a similar death for each of them. Would they risk life, limb and a terrible death for what they clearly would have known to be a lie?

There is an immensely important question police, authorities, prosecutors all ask in their investigations of supposed criminals or those they think are guilty of some serious crime: "IF the suspects are guilty, WHAT IS THEIR MOTIVATION FOR THE CRIME?!!!" Watch this short video, as apologist Dr. Frank Turek explains the obvious question surrounding the disciples' claims about Jesus - watch here: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/HKWJaec5 ... ture=share
