The heavens are often described as being stretched out like a tent or cloth.
Isaiah 44:24
I am the LORD ,
who has made all things,
who alone stretched out the heavens,
The obvious question is far can a tent be stretched.
This fact has not been lost on many scientists as they now propose the universe will only stretch so far than a big rip will occur.
