I am now a firm believer in Social Darwinism, as long as this guy is the first to go.

An atheist can't find God for the same reason a criminal can't find a police officer.
You need to start asking out girls so that you can get used to the rejections.

Our main concern should not be Nagin's remarks.
If this strategy does lead to him getting more votes, one should reconsider how far along we have come as a nation in terms of race relations.
The stratifying effects of racism and inequities of social classes needs to be addressed by our leaders.
If you've ever been to New Orleans, pre-Katrina you would have notices a very divided city, and prevalent racism. I think the strategy Mayoy Nagin has decided to use is a result of this pre-existing condition, further exacerbated by the disaster releif efforts.

So I'm blaming black people. How bout you? Time for us white guys to take a breather.

UGGGGHHHHHH!!!
WHY ARE AFRICAN-AMERICANS SO RACIST?!?! I know, I know! But, come ON! I see it everywhere.
Why does no one say anything about Randy on American Idol being racist? He treats black people different than white people. Kind of like how Paula treats attractive men. Oh, and also how Simon treats attractive, (to him,) females. But sexual attraction is wholly different than racial preference! RACISM!!!
I agree; our main concern should not be his remarks, it should be the RACISM THAT'S INCREASING IN THE "AFRICAN-AMERICAN" COMMUNITY!!! *Breathless panting* [I'm not really panting, understand! ] Isn't anyone as disgusted or concerned as I am about this? I mean, face it people, it's reality! Something must be done. It's quickly getting worse, and no one's even paying attention to the growing problem. IT'S NOT OKAY JUST BECAUSE THEY'RE BLACK! WE AREN'T, (white Americans, or other races,) OBLIGATED TO SIT BACK AND LET THESE PEOPLE BE RACIST!!! We don't need to feel sorry for them, and so let them get like this- racism, any form is A BAD THING! Ugh! Sorry, but I HATE it!BGood wrote:Our main concern should not be Nagin's remarks.

You ever get racist looks on the street? I am now. "African-Americans", (I HATE that term; immigrants from Africa are entirely different from these people,) sometimes give me looks, and I know it has to do with my being white. The look says, "You Cracker; you aren't as cool as I am with my nasty attitude." Anyone else here get that?
And to be so blantantly proud of a nasty attitude!!! That subculture says that being nasty is cool, whether it be attitude or sexual. You ever listen to the explicit sex in those rap or hip-hop songs? I've been kept from sleeping by them running through my head. What torment that was.
If my grandparents knew that that stuff existed, or was being played on school bus radios and in little kids' rooms... they could very well drop dead on the spot. And who wouldn't want to? Porn in music??? Is it possible? I think we've had it for years. Porn in movies, (and I'm talking PG-13, and closing in on even PG movies, thanks to Disney and Pixar,) porn in advertising, porn in music. What's next? Porn as an accepted, and possibly even distinguished art? Will there be galleries or art shows? Graphic sculptures? I shan't continue! Exploited, exploited, exploited. But, , I'm getting off topic! Sorry.
To sum up, I HATE RACISM!!!
...And this nasty, (with the correct negative attitude attached to that "nasty",) subculture that's pervading our nation.

You should enjoy that. It's safe to click. This is both funny and disturbing on many levels . . .

And that, brothers and sisters, is the kind of foolishness you get people who insist on denying biblical theism. A good illustration of any as the length people will go to avoid acknowledging basic truths.Proinsias wrote:I don't think you are hearing me. Preference for ice cream is a moral issue

I guess I do.
You know, there's something wrong with a pro-life group honouring Britney's motherhood when you take into consideration the widespread picture of her driving with her baby on her lap. I don't know- that's just me!
And why only crowning? And why fully naked on all fours, and all the rest? If they wanted to honour her motherhood, (and her, of all people,) then why not a sculpture of her holding Preston for the first time, (fully clothed, with frazzled hair, and a tear on her cheek?) Or, how about including something of the father? For example, at least a hand, maybe with his finger being held by the baby. Why? Because it's porn, and the beginnings of what I wrote I feared.
Thanks for confirming with astonishing proof my fears, Jac!
