Are tributes to human ok?

Post by Vash »

Well last night I was at my youth group ministry sermon, at my church, and I was wearing this tribute shirt of someone who had just passed away. I noticed a few people looked somewhat uncomfortable when they saw it.

So my question is, are tribute shirts (and tribute things in general) okay, or did I completely misinterpret the expressions on peoples' faces?

I don't see a problem as long as it's not a tribute to Hitler or Sid vicious or somebody who's character is completely immoral...of course some would say that is a subjective matter. I think a lot of issues like this come down to motives of the heart.
