http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandy

Sandy is a popular unisex name- the male version is short for "Alexander," or less commonly, "Sanford," while the female version is short for "Sandra," or less commonly, "Alexandra." In the 18th and 19th centuries, "Sandy" or "Sawney" was used as a racial stereotype of Scottish people. Notable people named Sandy include:

* Sandy Mölling, German singer
* Sandy Chambers, Italian singer
* Sandy Denny, British singer and songwriter
* Sandy Dvore, American artist
* Sandy Duncan, American singer and actress
* Sandy Koufax, American baseball pitcher
* the pseudonym of the porn model Zsanett Égerházi.
* the nickname of British Admiral John Woodward.

Sandy Cheeks is also a character from SpongeBob SquarePants.

Hello to all

Post by Motion »

Hi, Just joined!
I have really enjoyed reading articles and postings on this site. The creation articles were good and the posting on tithing was something I was glad to see discussed.
I look forward to reading much more but will from time to time try to give as well.

I go to church in Cardiff, Wales (related to Keri Jones and ministries without borders - the old restoration movement of the 70'/80's).

I'm not into debating endlessly things that are established (we need to move on from milk to meat as we grow) but I think it is unhealthy to suppress debate. I believe we are each responsible before God for our theology and so should never just believe what we are told to believe without reading the Bible ourselves.

Well, that's me. Hi to you all. :)

Welcome Motion.

Hope you'll look around. There is plenty of meat to be gathered as well. ;)

Hi, all!

Hello, brothers and sisters,

I'm the newest member for the day: male, 42, married, one awesome son, health professional, called by Jesus in 2001 and baptized into His Church 2 years ago.

I'm mostly interested in ministering to atheists and witnessing to the reliability of the Word of God in our 'evidence-demanding' age. As for the range of positions within the Evolution vs. Creation debate I rank as a Genesis Literalist.

Hope to learn from everybody in the Board and, together, bring Glory to Our Gracious Lord.

Blessings.

Yeah, welcome into the fold! It'll be good to have another Young Earth Creationist by my side, because you probably know a lot more about it than I do. ;) And if you're interested in ministering to atheists, you could check out the thread 'I really don't know where to start' in this forum.
So...welcome!

Hi all. I am Oriental. It is great to find a groovy site like this in particular the Day-Age theory. The explanation is thrilling; I came across a lot of other believers who are literalists, while the earth age verified so much by scientists I trust we shouldn't deny God's revelation out of the archaelogical findings so objectively manifesting.

I love playing guitar and listening to hymns. I love work as well though I don't look at myself a workaholic, but I love sharing with others religious experience and learn His words through conversation and fellowship.

Welcome, Oriental. This is a great site full of people who love the lord and want the truth.

Welcome Oriental. Those of us who are Old Earth Creationists, believe it is the literal way of understanding Genesis. You don't have the literal understanding of a passage until you have it as the original author under inspiration intended it, and until you understand it as the original audience intended it.

Glad you are here and hope you'll stick around!

Hello

Post by Ashley »

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

My name is Ashley living in Japan. A causal surf led me to this website. It is great to have this website explaining in details the biblical passages. Impressive is the part apologetics defending what the atheists and agnostics have been challenging so much that they always refuse to accept God's words and turn their back to the truth.

A website like this is powerful to convince those who always accuse with their conceited logical reasoning and radical secularism.

Still-necked heathens should read this website.

Wish we may share pretty much here.
