Spam?

Is it me or are we suddenly getting a lot of spam posts on here all of a sudden asking irrelevant things?

We consistently get spam and moderators remove it as soon as they see it. From my observations here and on another forum that I administrate, I do see spam coming in waves - but the waves are like those on the beach; they do vary but they never go away.
Why you appear to be seeing more may also be related to moderator activity in this respect. If we are all actively involved here all of the time, it would be far less likely that you would see any of it. However, we might find ourselves with serious problems if we did nothing else but watch the forum.

Very true.

This wasn't a critisism on the Moderators management - I think the moderation on here is excellent. Just a passing observation.
