can someone please clarify this for me?
1)what is the deal with a heaven and a perfect earth after armaggedon? is there any basis for this perfect earth idea, and where in the bible?
2)does God punish?
3)what separates us from angels? why are we God's greatest creation. if we are created in his image, what about us is his image? it can't be free will, because angels have free will. it can't be a soul, because every living thing has a soul (even though this is debateable, there's enough of a possibility for it). so what else makes us in his image? eternal souls? aren't angels eternal? WHAT?!

so after we live on the renewed earth, then we will have a war, and then go to heaven? do we fight in this war or just God and the demons?
do we stay us when we go to heaven? i thought we (angels/humans) were separate beings? my friend insists we will become angels, but i can't prove to him that we will stay "us"--humans, not angels.

When we get to heaven we shall be equal to the angels. We will live in glorified bodies similar to Jesus, in the new creation. The nature of that will be higher that that of angels.
