Universal symbols for Bible books?

Post by madscientist »

I had this idea that it would be nice if there were universal symbols for Bible books as there are for other things, e.g. units in SI, periodic table etc. Because as we see this (doesnt affect if only in 1 large country) but in regions where many languages are spoken, i thought that universal symbols would simplify many things. Some are so different in Slovak (my 1st language), German, French, English, already, yet this is example only a few languages. :)
Sorry if this sounds pathetic, but i like some things universal and easy to recognize

Any ideas?

Sounds like it could be a good idea. Maybe a book with a cross on it.

Thx for reply YLTYLT. only how realizable is it??? :D
Not gona change much but think that would make Bible really "universal" and easier to read if u come to a country or across a language which has different names of books etc.
