All,
My father passed away from pneumonia Saturday morning at 6 am, 8/25/07. His immune system was so compromised by his blood disease (MDS), that he wasn't strong enough to fight on. He was 72 years old...
I just wanted to thank you all for your prayers and concerns. I greatly appreciate it and I'm sure he did too.

I am so sad to hear of your loss. It was obviously God time to draw your father back home to Himself, and I'm sure he is at perfect peace at last. You on the other hand have a rough road ahead of you. God will give you the grace to see you through the dark valley of mourning, but always remember that He is with you every step of the way.
I rejoice that your father is with his Savior at long last. Take hope in the fact that you will see him again. Also be honest and gentle with yourself right now...and know that you will be in my prayers, brother.
