Re: Whoohooo
Time for an update:
Had our first "real" Dr.'s appointment yesterday. We got the hear the baby's heartbeat. I didn't get as excited as my wife, but it was very cool.
A week from today (wed) we have our first sonogram and (hopefully) find out the sex. (I'm leaning towards girl, i want to spoil her)

Re: Whoohooo
Had our first sonogram a couple days ago. Only 11 or 12 weeks at this point, so no gender.
Everything was where it belonged, though, and that is good news. It was hard for the Dr.s to get a good picture since the baby kept jumping around. It was really cute. It would curl it's legs up and kick hard off of the wall of the sack and go flying around.
Also, they kept saying that the baby had a big "nasal bone" (ie big nose). I am half-italian and have a huge nose, so we got a big kick out of that.
Anyway, probably having another appointment in six weeks for another sonogram.
