weary, weary, bone tired

Post by zoegirl »

Hey guys....feel a bit silly writing this, because there are plenty of worse things that couldhave happened. But collectively?....feeling....brittle and fragile.

I have been very stressed!! at home, at school, in life. Had to deal with an incident of cheating and that kills me. I hate being the one through which a student gets suspended. He is incredibly repentant and God is using this incredibly in him right now, but I feel for him, that feeling of remorse and stupidity. Last week my car was broken into and it took all day last week to get things straightened up. (VERY stupidly, I left my purse in the car....idiot, idiot, idiot). Took all day to fix the shattered window and cancel what needed to be cancelled, license to be replaced, credit fraud alert....etc (VERY thankfully 2 of my credit cards were in my house) Sprained my ankle the day before that (but couldn't stay off my feet because of the car) and got sick the day after.

And the end of the quarter is this week, so I have been trying to finish some grading, been on less than 5 hours of sleep each night, which I cann't do anymore....

So now my colitis is acting up....

Just call me Eeyore or Puddleglum, feeling a bit Job-ish

But I would appreciate prayer...just...weary...I refuse to do any grading tonight and I WILL get 8 hours of sleep.

Oh Zoegirl,
It really is hard when those stress points start adding up. I feel for ya. You are in my prayers. Just as a reminder and a word of encouragement, Jesus is still there welcoming the weary and heavy ladened. You are not alone even when it feels that way sometimes.

Take a deep breath
