Life

Post by Liam »

Hey. I'm a new believer. Please pray that I can have a close walk with God. Also pray that this can radiate to my family, friends and everybody around me. Pray that God can talk through me and that I can be faithful and willing in that. Also pray that I can have some sense of direction in what I am working towards in working life and relationships with people. Pray that I can supress and extinguish sin and lack of faith.... and that I can be unselfish in prayer and general life. I need to be more humble, zealous and wise. Thankyou for your prayers. Prayer is effective!

You got it, Liam. I would ask that you pray the same for me. I'm sure as a new believer you have a great hunger and thirst for the things of God. Don't ever lose that. Be viligent to always put Christ first and He promises to guide you and use you for His service.

Got your back man.

I just prayed for the both of us.

I am having difficult times with sin, I know it is bad, but I do certain things anyway then feel bad about it.

I have faith, but need help on control I guess.
Definition of a Veteran. A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including his life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.

I understand. It takes total relience on God at all times. God is patient and knows you are young in the Lord. When the temptation arises ask yourself...do I want to please God and give in, or would I rather please myself. These choices will face you all of your Christian life. Even at 30 years old in the Lord I still struggle. The main thing is that the more you put your faith in God, the stronger you will get in Him. It's not always easy, but the benefits are so worth it.

Take care

Liam I thought that would you asked of us to pray was stated greatly. I will most certainly pray for your faith, and that the HOly Spirit may enter the hearts of those around you, open them to God's message, and allow them to be saved. And I could use some of the humbleness myself, I believe we all could, haha. And yes you are right, prayer is a wonderful and extremely powerful thing.
