GOd was missing for six days. On the seventh day, Michael, the archangel, looks for him. He finds him resting.

"God, what are you doing," Michael asks.

"Phew," God replies. "I just got done creating the earth."

"What's that?"

"My new creation. It will be completely balanced," he says, pointing to the various continents. "See, this section is all cold and frozen and this section is hot. This section will have some black people and this section will have some white people."

"What about this place," Michael asks, pointing to the state of Washington in the US above California.

"That's one of my favorite," God answers. "The land is lush, with beautiful mountains and green grass. The people will be smart, and funny, and humble. They will be regarded as great people throughout the world."

"What about the balance," Michael asks.

"It's okay," God answers. "There's going to be another washington and wait until you see the idiots i'm going to put there."

sorry folks, but the original joke is that God points to Canada, and says all those nice things. after the archangel asks "What about the balance", God says "just wait until you see the idiots i'm putting south of them"
