Re: religious scientist?
There is a thread here under God and Science titled Christian and Christian Organizations in Science.
There is also a link in the first post in this thread by Canuckster that may interest you.
I Hope this helps.

Re: religious scientist?
This might answer your question... I don't know if these scientists are religious, but they challenge DE.
"Various tenets of Darwinian evolution, and the evidence put forth to support it, has been scientifically challenged by doctoral scientists, researchers and theorists at a number of universities, colleges, and research institutes around the world. Over 700 scientists have signed the Scientific Dissent from Darwin statement since it originated in 2001."

Re: religious scientist?
hmm are you sure those are even biologists? Because it wouldn't make sense if they were geologists or something, and DI was just looking for anyone with PhD. in front of their name.Gman wrote:This might answer your question... I don't know if these scientists are religious, but they challenge DE.

I don't know, maybe you could ask one of them. One of them is a member of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences.Markster106 wrote: hmm are you sure those are even biologists? Re: religious scientist?
Well there is a beginning for everything... Darwin wasn't exactly a scientist either. He was a theologian. Although interested in biological science, he received his theology degree from Cambridge in 1831.. In fact hardly any of the founding fathers of evolution had a degree in science.Markster106 wrote:seems like only about half of those are biologists.

Re: religious scientist?
Still, Darwin went around the world for five years studying evolution and recording his observations, eventually writing an entire book. Could you say the same about the those scientists?Gman wrote:Well there is a beginning for everything... Darwin wasn't exactly a scientist either. He was a theologian. So your argument is that if someone travels around the world for five years, records his observations, and then writes a book about it that somehow puts his ideas above everyone else?Markster106 wrote:Still, Darwin went around the world for five years studying evolution and recording his observations, eventually writing an entire book.

Re: religious scientist?
if you went around the world and stumbled on something as monumental as Darwin and presented it in Darwin's fashion, someone else could easily revolutionize science. That's the dream of all scientists I hopeSo your argument is that if someone travels around the world for five years, records his observations, and then writes a book about it that somehow puts his ideas above everyone else?
