childhood memories
Anybody else grow up watching Speed racer?
Wonder whether the movie will ruin the childhood memories...as strange as that cartoon was...

I did. It was one of my favorites. Usually after Speed Racer would be Kimba, the White Lion. Those were the days.
I'm not sure how this movie will be...I've seen posters, but no trailers yet. I hope they do it well.

Then another favorite was Rocky and Bullwinkle with fractured fairy tales (what humor!)

Yes...cartoons of yester-year are by far more entertaining than today's garbage. There will never be cartoons the likes of those years...The Looney Tunes, Hanna Barbera, Heckle and Jeckle, Tom Slick, and the rest. Bugs Bunny has to be my all-time favorite, but it would still be difficult to decide what to watch today, given a choice.

Loved mighty mouse, especially the theme music. It's the only tune I can play on the guitar. My all-time favorite cartoon has got to be the road runner though.zoegirl wrote:Oh wow, mighty mouse...."here I come to save the day"

Let us proclaim the mystery of our faith: Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again.
Lord I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.
