Post by JC333 »

Do we actually have any originals of any of the Books of the Bible or just copies of them (Dead Sea Scrolls)?

Copies.

The Dead Sea Scrolls took many of them, particularly Isaiah further back, than we'd ever had them before. The encouraging thing is that the younger scrolls and the scholarship that projected changes and scribal errors were strongly affirmed.

The Dead Sea Scrolls also lend support to an early date for the book of Daniel, as in prior to the fulfillment of the prophecies therein.
