THought the ending was a bit convenient....B illie Piper must have been extraordinarily popular (or, as my brother thinks, she realized she lost a good thing in leaving) for them to create such a stroyline.
I actually liked the other companions just as much.

It was a great finale. I thought we would see a new Doctor and was surprised that he healed himself. I do think now that the Doctor is truly alone as — how can he regenerate?
Maybe future show will have his cloned daughter fill this bill somehow or the other twin doctor? Again at the end, the twin doctor was guilty of what? Wow more liberal spin but oh well — great series!
Does anyone remember the older series and how the Darlecks were? The special effects lacked in the old shows but they are still good!

Hi. I'm back after a hiatus. However, I haven't watched any more Doctor Who yet. I'm waiting for Netflix to get the dvd set, which is supposed to be next month. So . . . I didn't read all the posts here (too many spoilers, I'm sure). But I'll be back

I always get confused when I try to figure that out, taking into consideration the differences in what they call seasons and when they begin and when they would begin here. I know that DAvid Tennant will be on e five more speicals....but I don;t know when....

Well on the Children in Need special they showed the new Doctor. It was David Morissley (spelt wrong). He seems ok. Although that might just have been a joke played on us by those in the BBC
