My on line name isn't very original but there is a some-what amusing story behind it:
When my wife, named Rody, lost two of her four children, we felt it important to move to her hometown, a small, rural community in upstate New York, to be a support to her surviving family. Everyone here knows her and no one knows me. Around the community, I am known simply as "Rody's husband". It is a humbling experience...so I've taken her name as a screen name to remind myself that God desires us to remain humble in the face of tragedy. I have often joked that when I pass away, the local newspaper obituary will have my photo and say "Rody's Husband" in place of my name (Steve).

If they had a social gospel in the days of the prodigal son, somebody would have given him a bed and a sandwich and he never would have gone home.

Let me guess... near Broadway.
If you're born once, you die twice; but if you're born twice, you die once.
Mine is a little sad. I used to play D&D and play World of Warcraft now. Silvertusk is one of the names I made up for a character years and years ago - and I have been using it for different things ever since, including WOW.

I think this is a difficult pun to spot:
Harry12345, you said your screen name was boring; I said your name has a nice ring to it.
Bo-ring: the French word for «nice» is «beau,» pronounced bo. So, bo-ring is nice ring.
I think this is what FFC meant.

Bloomin' heck! Well done FFC for spotting that obscure pun...
I wish I could take credit for being that clever...the pun I saw was FL saying that your name Harry had a nice ring to it. The nice ring was the O in your name.

And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do?

You could have appeared super-clever and not said anything - kudos for your honesty.

The temptation was overwhelming...

…I guess seven is the number of rest but I'd be lying if I said I was thinking that. It works out good because I'm finding that it's available on every forum I'm registered. You can all see if I have the same personality everywhere I go…

...Oh and I'm not a gambler either. So, it has nothing to do with that.
