UK needs another Spurgeon and Wesley.

In Britain, I read that most of the early work of spreading the Christian gospel was done by traveling monks. But that was when they were still mostly pagan. Are post Christian areas much harder to evanglize?

Jlay, In addition I would suggest that you get B.W's book called "A Land Unknown: Hell's Dominion" as well... Bryan (B.W.) actually had a near dear experience and went to hell.. This book will have you on your seat.. I could not put this book down. In fact I had to read another book called "90 Minutes of Heaven" just to ease my mind.

Bryan has agreed to post his dvd on YouTube. I'll be doing this soon if you want to wait as well.. Either way.

I'm hearing that missionaries from countries we had ourselves previously evangelised are coming over to Britain to preach the Gospel. I don't know how true this is, but I damn well hope it is true. How ironic! There's a downward trend in church attendances but belief appears to be on the rise. It's about time. And if the story is true of foreign missionaries coming to Britain, then it could add the well-timed kick up the backside we need. Apathy and debauchery have played a part over here for too long.

Gman,

I have read 90 minutes. I am familiar with BW's book, and have it on my "to do" reading list.

Not to keep adding to the list, but there is also another book called "23 Minutes in Hell" by Bill Wiese. He gives a similar testimony to Bryan's.. I found Bryan's experience to be in greater detail although apparently there are different sections to hell. Regardless, these testimonies will make you think before you do something really silly like sin..

Also heard 23 minutes a number of years ago with the Leonard Ravenhill sermon attached at the end.

Also, I should note that Bryan has made a little movie on his hell experience called "To Hell and Back." I ordered mine from amazon a few days ago.
