I know there are many threads on this board that discuss violence in the OT, and the literal aspect vs figurative language - and all those issues - too. I'll try to find some of them and post them here.

Thank you, there is much to read and many of us have the same questions. I have a long way to go to achieve the level of understanding I wish to have.
