Re: fried chicken
Well, I love fried chicken - and I think Popeye's is better than Kentucky Fried - but it is sooooooo fattening! I love food, so it's really hard to say what my favorite is. But, I do love sushi and Japanese food.

Re: fried chicken
Yeah, it's not that great!! Albertson's has a good deal every Monday. On that day, you can buy a roast chicken meal that includes a chicken of your choice, mojo type potatoes, salad, King's Hawaian rolls, and also a free 2 liter coke product, for $7.99. I think the rest of the week it's the same, except that you don't get the coke; but I'm not positive. But anyway, I know you only get all that on Monday for that price. It's a great deal, and their cole slaw is good too!

Re: fried chicken
Hummm interresting.
One of my favorite food recently is Coq au Vin (Red wined chicken, may I say, french cuisine).
I cooked it myself and made a whole pot of it for 15 persons on new year's eve.
Yes I am a chef but without the hat
I am a salmon fan and for you here is my very easy reciepe of White Wine Salmon:
INGREDIANTS
1 piece of salmon (1 for each person)
Dry Red Wine
Half an onion for each piece of salmon
Origanos and Estragon (Tarragon) herbs
HOW TO:
Start the oven at 375-400
Cut the onions in small pieces (tip of your small finger)
Take a recipient that goes to the oven and place half the onions spread at the bottom with a pinch of each herbs (one third of a spoon of each)
Place your salmon over the onions.
Fill the salmon with wine until a bit over-filled
Cover with the rest of the onions and another pinch of herbs
Cook in the oven for 18 min. + 3 min. for each additionnal salmon pieces.
Serve with your favorite green vegies and two or three small carrots.
Later then, make love (well you have all the ingrediants)
Zeb the chef.

Re: fried chicken
What's this "Popeye's" business then? Is this strictly American? Tell you what my cousins, over here we get Tennessee Fried Chicken, Nashville Fried Chicken, you know, all the spin offs, but NOTHING beats the Kentucky Fried Chicken. The secret's in the secret...If you know what I mean. God bless that colonel.treeschanna510 wrote:ya know ive always liked popeyes better and i thoguth it was just me but it just tastes like it has more flavor
