The little things/WDJTUTD

Post by Tdude1094 »

I'm just curious. What would a follower of Christ do in the case of friends and people asking for homework answers and such, or to copy homewaork. I've always wondered what to do about things like that. Any ideas on what jesus would tell us to do at this point? y:-?

Flee! For sin is knocking at your door and not Christ!

So you're saying just try to avoid the whole situation or try and explain to them that I can't? That's gonna be challenging to do to a friend, a real friend.

Say No and do not do this.

I am no sure if this a college assignment or what. If it is, you and you freind could be tossed out of school. It never works. No if your friend is true friend, saying no to this would cause no bad feelings or manipulated responses designed to make you feel guilty.

In life, the Lord never allows you to cheat - he'll let a person fail so they'll learn from mistake then help him/her become a better person.

Believe me, as a teacher, we do catch both parties and discipline accordingly.

You can offer to help him with homework, you can direct to him to someone who can help (tutor, teacher, other student), you can even explain to a teacher that he is struggling (most won't mind!) and came to you for help (you don't have to reveal the request for cheating).

But you will not benefit from giving him homework and neither will he. How much of a friend are you to help him by letting him cheat and yet not helping him solve the problem?!??
