Just thought I update you on what has been happening. We have only 6 weeks to go. Everything has been progressing fine - although my wife has had her asthma made worse. We can see the baby moving around lots and every check up has been good. I know it is in Gods hands and he is smoothing over any complications - but being a born worrier - would you guys possibly pray for these last 6 weeks to go well and that God will continue to work in this. Thank you all very much.

Silvertusk,

I'm only sorry that I came to this thread late. You and your wife have been through the wringer. I'm praying for you brother. I wish you and your wife all the best.

Hi Guys.

I thought I would update you on what has been happening. My Wife is now 12 days overdue and she is going into the hospital today to be induced - so by the end of today or tomorrow we will be parents. Please could you possibly pray for us that everything will go smoothly and that there will be no complications and that Gods Hand will be on everything that happens over the next few days - and that my wife and our baby will be ok and healthy.

Thank you so much in advance.

God Bless

Let us proclaim the mystery of our faith: Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again.

Lord I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.

Thankyou for your prayers.

Update - Well this is getting a little frustrating. Rang the hospital this morning and was told that the inducement has been postponed until Thursday now. Maybe this gives us more time for it to happen naturally - but it just makes us want to scream!!! No real explanation given apart from that the rules have been changed that they now wait 14 days until inducing. One comfort in this is that we are sure this is down to Gods timing and he has a reason and a plan for this.

I am surprised. Normally doctors and nurses want to rush in with the interventions.

If they induce labor, as the body is not really ready, then it will be a tougher birth and more interventions may be needed (such as an episiotomy), or if none are needed tearing is more likely to occur. It is a better situation if the birthing is able to happen naturally without unnecessary interventions. So this could actually be a blessing.

You guys are in my prayers.

Hi guys.

We have a beautiful baby girl -called Rosa. It was a tough birth but we got there in the end. She is so gorgeous and God is so good. We have had a rough few days because she has not been feeding too well - no sleep since thursday. But all is good now.

Thank you all for you prayers over this time. I know God has been listening.
