Well the first scan was 30/3/2010 and the latest scan is the 27/5/2010 ... baby due 30/9/2010... I'm not great on the number of weeks we are in now as we are a wee bit sketchy on the date he was conceived...

those ar ethe new 3-D (or 4-D if it is a video) ultrasound scans and are really really cool....

I was truly shocked and amazed at the first scan of my son, at 3 months (or less - I can't remember now). He was more developed than I thought he'd be, kicking and everything. They show those images in the biology books, and they're not right, LOL. Unless they have new ones. I was so shocked - I'm sure the ob/gyn enjoyed seeing my reaction.

I'm still curious, Danny, if you think or know that God would accept your reason for not getting married. I don't mean to be mean at all! Just wondering . . . and trying to help, if possible.

Hi cs, I missed the first scan but this one was great, weird as well...strange.

I doubt that God would accept my reason for not sticking with the mother.

Can anybody tell me if the mother of the baby is allowed to just let one of her other sons choose the baby's name and without me having a say? She just told me in a matter of fact way that Cameron has chosen Reuben for a name? Aside from the name Reuben being ghastly - sorry to any Reubens out there! this is just not right. Is it?

I doubt you have any legal right at all...but hopefully you may appeal to make it a middle name?? (of course, plenty of people end up calling the baby by the middle name...)

I would say if she really really wants to call the baby reuben, it will be reuben

Nicknames are a great way of expressing your choice of names.

Just a tiny piece of advice. If at all possible, make piece with the mother as much as you can. Regarding your son, Eighteen or so years isn't much time. I have a twenty year old daughter, She was family adopted when I was younger and even more Iresponsible (long painful story). I haven't spent as much time with her as I wish I would have. That time is now gone. My two sons on the other hand, I spend all my spare time with them both. Some of the best times of my life have been with them. Children truely are a gift from GOD!!!! Make every opportunity to spend as much time with him as you can. The impression you make on him will last a lifetime. I always tell my sons I love them and hug them, and always will. Something I never heard at there age. Love him with every thing you have, just like I believe you love GOD!

This is all being done out of jealousy and spite, it's plain and simple to me now. Lies are being told about me apparently "wanting an abortion"... This is what she has told her dad about me... Lovely Christian woman huh?

And in the meantime I have to take what ever is dished out, no recourse, no rights... Ah to be filled with the bliss of approaching fatherhood, what a beautiful feeling all this is...

Thanks sinner! Good adivce, and of course I will love him with all my heart and soul. I am literally being sidelined. Many may same I am to blame as I have not stuck by her, but I can assure you that with or without me the child has a mother whose 'fitness' as a mother can only be conservatively described as deeply suspect. A woman full of vile lies and deceit is not a woman for me. Anyway, I am no angel here, and have to continue to keep my mouth shut as when I open it what I say matters not a jot!

Sorry, I should've kept that private, but I've been raging since last night. No chance of reason at the moment. By share do you mean equal share? If so, no chance. She's always said I can see the baby as much as I like, but she's turned since she found out about my new girlfriend.
