The Passion of the Christ - historical value?

Does the movie - The Passion Of The Christ - stay true to the historical accounts that has been written down ? ( like bible or any other historical accounts). I was just wondering because it is one of my favourite movies :ebiggrin:

Oh by the way i noticed that when you wrote about Jesus saying "My God, My God why have thou forsaken me?" are you sure its not from Psalm 22:1 ?
