THE BEST BIRTHDAY GIFT; JESU KRISTUS.
I think I got the smokin' gun. Although it's personal and doesn't entirely appeal to my faculties of reasoning. Listen to the story I have to say:
Yesterday, I got a Package. From my neighbour, I looked at it and ignored it. ACTUALLY even worse, I chucked it in the Bin. Today my curiosity got the better of me, So I went down and grabbed the package from the Bin, it was from a "Rev. Magnussên"--(at least if I remember the label properly)
Anyway Inside was 2 books, 1 not so old another about 101 years old! The first was a book that obviously the church of sweden uses sometimes i suppose, a "New English Hymnal" the other was a book called "preparation for confirmation.
I read the note that came with these books. Giving a list of Page numbers and also another List of songs, from the first book. What can I say? Except that my mind has EXPLODED. That is just it. Everything is so weird, its like the world is inside out or something. Indescribable.
Anyway, I do wish that I am not wasting your time babbling. PS, my connection was down for 2 hours...Took some hard work getting it back

Kris... God will speak to you if you are open to Him. I believe that this could be a sign as well. I have numerous stories like this one...Kristoffer wrote:I think I got the smokin' gun. I do want him to speak to me, the words in these have really touched me I even had to cry(for the Joy), actually i cried through "The invention of lying", which I had incidentally gotten as a gift from another neighbour. It does have some sad moments.

In teaching the meaning of the sevenfold gift let it be frankly admitted that all gifts possessed by man are from above and come down from the father of lights. There must be no encouragement given to draw sharp lines of distinction between what we are accustomed to call "natural" gifts and "spiritual" gifts. All natural gifts are spiritual in the sense that they are the gifts of the spirit, who moveth in things and "hath filled the world"

Sounds right to me... In essence every good gift comes from Him. And one day we will all see Him face to face... It will just be you and God alone.Kristoffer wrote:I do want him to speak to me, the words in these have really touched me I even had to cry(for the Joy), actually i cried through "The invention of lying", which I had incidentally gotten as a gift from another neighbour. But not everyone who you love?
Anyway can you help? FL thinks i am some kind of "athiest fisherman" i find the very idea repulsive. As much as you wish to convert, athiest wouldn't wish to deconvert people just for the sake of it, i do not even know if i should call myself a athiest any more it just wouldn't make sense or feel right.

Re: THE BEST BIRTHDAY GIFT; JESU KRISTUS.
Well we do not convert just for the sake of it, we lead people to Christ so that they may have eternal life and be in paradise with Christ. We lead people to Christ to have a deep and loving and meaningful relationship with Him. It is so they can have joy and hope and true love in their lives. To be fulfilled and not feel void or empty. It is out of love for the individual that we lead people to Christ. Kristoffer, God loves you and wants you to be in heaven with Him and us for all eternity. He LOVES you, and He will always love you. This is not a religion, it is a relationship. God wants to talk to you, and fill the void that is in your life.Kristoffer wrote:But not everyone who you love?

God Bless you, I hope you will find peace in the Lord forever.

Sure.. And we can judge ourselves too. What I'm talking is about after death. We all will be judged.Kristoffer wrote:

Re: THE BEST BIRTHDAY GIFT; JESU KRISTUS.
I think Gman means the future judgment of everyone (?? Maybe he's referring to 1 Cor 3:12-15) . . . and this is way in the future. If you believe in Christ, that he is your Lord and Savior, you will get to be in heaven with Him when you die. If your loved ones love the Lord, they will be there too.Kristoffer wrote:Well cant i be judged now? Is anyone judged before death?Gman wrote:Oh... I think I know. I'm just speaking at the judgment.. You said yourself that you felt drawn here for some reason. And your neighbor gave you those books at the right time - very awesome! God works like that . . . I hope you will continue to listen to the Spirit, and I hope you can learn more here, too. Let us know if you need anything.
Anyway, there is "no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus." Once you accept Him, your sins are washed away. But see 1 Corinthians 3:12-15, as I noted above.

The man is a good man, He may be a chubby "glutton". But for a priest he is a awesome guy, I feel slightly ashamed that i had threatened to "squish" him. But I made up for it. He treats people in a fair and decent way. PS is gin and tonic the appropriate way of making up to a priest? it is the holy spiritYou said yourself that you felt drawn here for some reason. And your neighbor gave you those books at the right time - very awesome!

Lol, I don't know. I know in some areas of the world, that would be acceptable, in others not so much.

I think an appropriate thank you is to sit down with him and talk with him! Especially concerning the pages he highlighted for you...I am glad that you are reading them...come back with questions!
But I think I would leave out the glutton part...

Well he IS a big man, Just he has a big heart too. Its kind of evil thinking to pound on someone just because they happen to love cakes sweets and pie and gin and tonic.
