Prayers for my Father-In-Law

Post by August »

Hi everyone,

My FIL was diagnosed with bone cancer this morning. Please keep him in your prayers.

Thanks
Acts 17:24-25 (NIV)
"The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands. [25] And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else."

Praying August. You've had a lot to deal with lately. I'm sorry for all the difficulty.

For sure, will do August.
Let us proclaim the mystery of our faith: Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again.

Lord I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.

Is he saved? If not, I'll pray for his salvation.

Hi everyone, thanks for the kind words and prayers. Short update...my FIL was in for more tests today, and we will know more in the coming days.

Please also add my wife's friend Sunny to your prayer list as she was diagnosed with leukemia today.

Thanks for your prayers. The initial test results are back, and the more serious cancers have been ruled out. What remains can apparently be treated with medication, unless the doctors really missed something. This is great news, and the power of prayer is proven once again. To God the honor for His grace and mercy.

That is fantastic news. I'm so glad there's some encouragement for you after all the difficulties. Regardless though of the circumstances, God loves you and you family deeply and his grace is immeasurable. I pray things progress well and the news continues to be good.
