Have you ever read "Islam and Terrorism" by Mark A. Gabriel? I think this book should be read by everyone, Christians, Jews, Muslims and the non-religious.

Here is a clip from the book, which also happens to be on the Internet. These are the words of Mawlana Abul Ala Mawdudi, the founder of Pakistan's fundamentalist movement.

Islam is not a normal religion like the other religions in the world, and Muslim nations are not like normal nations. Muslim nations are very special because they have a command from Allah to rule the entire world and to be over every nation in the world.... (Islam and Terrorism, page 81)

Islam is a revolutionary faith that comes to destroy any government made by man. Islam doesn't look for a nation to be in better condition than another nation. Islam doesn't care about the land or who owns the land. The goal of Islam is to rule the entire world and submit all of mankind to the faith of Islam. Any nation or power in this world that rises to get in the way of that goal, Islam will fight and destroy.

In order for Islam to fulfill that goal, Islam can use every power available every way it can be used to bring worldwide revolution. This is jihad. . . .

Islam is not just a spiritual religion; Islam is a way of life. It is a heavenly system revealed to our world through the angel Gabriel, and the responsibility of Muslims is to destroy any other system in the world and to replace it with the Islamic system.

Everyone who believes in Islam in this manner can be a member of Jamaat-i-Islami [the Pakistani fundamentalist movement]. I don't want anybody to think that Muslims who join the party of God are just normal Muslim missionaries or normal preachers in the mosque or people who write articles. The party of God is a group established by Allah himself to take the truth of Islam in one hand and to take the sword in the other hand and destroy the kingdoms of evil and the kingdoms of mankind and to replace them with the Islamic system. This group is going to destroy the false gods and make Allah the only God. (Islam and Terrorism, page 82)

Another book I recommend you all read is: "The Grand Jihad" written by Andrew C. McCarthy. "McCarthy was a top federal prosecutor involved in some of the most significant cases in recent history. We can't successfully defeat this enemy until we understand exactly where they are coming from and how they think and also how they intend to destroy our way of life -- their methods.

In my opinion, Islam radicals/extremists are the greatest threat to the world and there are a lot of them. McCarthy gives some estimates as to their numbers and the untold numbers who support them. The numbers are staggering.

Oh yes.. I've read Mark's book many times... And if his words aren't convincing enough, read what the Quran says about the "other" religions..

Sura 61:9 He it is Who sent His Messenger with the guidance and the true religion, that He may make it overcome the religions, all of them.

Sura 9:33 It is He Who has sent His Noble Messenger with guidance and the true religion, in order to prevail over all other religions - even if the polytheists get annoyed.

Sura 48:28 It is He Who has sent His Noble Messenger with the guidance and the true religion, in order to make it prevail over all other religions; and Allah is sufficient as a Witness.

It's not a religion of peace at all.. It's not only a religion but also a government. And many famous people seem to miss this point.

More importantly, however, we shouldn't hate Muslims at all. Some are very nice, so we should teach them the ways of Christ in everything we do.. Don't stereotype them. Love them. ;)

I agree that we should love them, but I also believe we should try to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus in love to them, hoping they will get to know the real Jesus who walked the earth and not the "Isa" depicted in the Qur'an.

"The Grand Jihad" is a real eye-opener. It is easy to read, but I had to put it down every once in awhile because it is so depressing.

All I can tell you one of the biggest differences I see between the Muslim god "Allah" and the Christian God, is that the Christian God COMMANDS us to love Luke 10:27, Matthew 5:44. Love is the PINNACLE of the Christian faith. In fact, if love is not there, there is NO God 1 John 4:16. God also want's us to be rooted and grounded in love Ephesians 3:17. You can have all the knowledge in the world but have not LOVE, in God's eye YOU ARE NOTHING to Him 1 Corinthians 13:2. Period.

Now if that doesn't make your head spin and make you wonder, I don't know what will.. What more does God have to do to get our attention?? y:O2

The God of the Bible makes this VERY VERY clear who he is AND what he died for John 3:16.

No other beliefs have ever come close to this. In the Muslim faith, they do not even know what they worship. Sadly.. Allah is as mysterious as a dark empty cave from which it came from..

The difference between the Christian God and Allah, is that one is the uncreated, immutable, transcendant creator. The other is a twisted fabrication of a lunatic. The other difference is that through apologetics Christians can demonstrate the very truth of this matter.

Islam is a perversion, a hodge podge of different things, some borrowed from Judaism and Christainity and twisted to suit the ideas of a megalomaniacal false prophet.

I am going to get that book and read it. This is one thing that frustrates me, when I hear over and over that the terrorists were not Muslim. Yes, they were. Even if you want to call them "extremists" or "Jihad" they still follow the Muslim Beliefs. They hate America and all Americans. Why people cannot see that I do not understand.

There are those who believe the extremists and jihadists are following the true religion of Islam.
