Sexual immorality, hatred, drunkenness, homosexuality, pornography, selfish ambition, envy and the likes. Even if you are not sure you are sinning, DON'T even go there. It's not worth it.

Also, add to this is that sin is whatabuses, exploits, manipulates, seeks ways game God's Love by acts of adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like (Gal 5:10, 11, 12c).

It is that aspect of sin that people do not see in themselves toward one another and God.

Almost destroyed me too, and still could. But we can't completely stop sinning, G. I think it'll be a constant battle up until the end...and we can only battle as hard as we can against it. Personally I have rid myself of some bad sins...but I'm still not satisfied that I'll ever stop sinning completely...praise God and the grace he has shown to us...

Thanks guys.. Yes I couldn't agree with you more. And Yes, thank God we have Christ as our protector and our salvation or we would be turned into pancakes. And God is righteous to destroy us.. We can't have sin (hatred, immorality, etc..) in heaven. It just doesn't work that way.. It really sucks, but that is the way it goes.

The point I'm trying to make however is through the Holy Spirit we need to declare war on our sins. Yes that doesn't mean we will ever stop sinning or be perfect, but we must take steps to put an end to sin. Believe me, I have a long long way to go.. Even if we are not completely sure we are sinning, don't even go there.

Will it cause a "shipwreck faith" as Paul states, will it move you from a secure position? as in if your once saved always saved secured, sealed, forever and nothing can move you; lest yourself... by sin that comes to destroy like your enemy satan, and when full grown brings forth death, physically and spiritually??? Just asking...

No... We are not talking about salvation here. We are talking about obedience and part of that obedience is obeying God. Do's AND don'ts.. We have to do our best to obey God. What sin are we talking about there? All of it.. We are called to be separated from this world. Even if it is questionable sin. Stop it!

I don't really know, only that I would question did we really accept Christ in the first place. For if we did we really wouldn't be doing that stuff... Again, this doesn't mean that we won't sin again. I believe however that we should be making an EFFORT not to sin anymore.

This is a call to purity. Giving up the lust of the flesh. Looking on a woman lustfully (unless it is your wife obviously), greed, hatred, bitterness, envy. AND I would add.. Masturbation, tattoos, smoking, drugs (bad), gluttony, overeating, and the likes. I would say we have to make our bodies pure too. It's time to stop such things..
