I see, but with question mark. And since I mentioned Jack in my post, I wanted to be sure, so I asked.

When you said you have known all along you were reacting to Jack's post. Now you share the quote from Rick. I hope Rick's words did not influence how you view others.
Yes...but I actually made the same statement to both parties..

Their posts are not honest.....they don't read what I write

And they think the whole world agrees with them...except of course ....me

I am the joke of the neighborhood..can't you see?
I see what you mean.

I see both parties feel misunderstood.

edit: by both parties I meant you and others

That you ardently declare as sad....for the kingdom of ...you...

Yes I laugh ...very hard.... :pound:

but of course...I'm insane......

JC was addressing that post to me. He had previously linked me to this song:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=68UPqsVhQAg

And I had made some disparaging remarks about it.

It is a song that JC can "bounce with exuberance to" and he is puzzled why I don't also bounce with exuberance to the song.

Cheers.

1/137,
Just out of curiosity, I went and listened to JC's beloved song again.

The lyrics to that song can mean just about anything anybody wants them to mean.
Imo, the lyrics are designed that way, that is, to be sort of a modern day avant-garde
poetry piece that can be used as "social commentary" or even "political commentary."

I'm using avant-garde to mean this:
avant-garde:
1. those artists, writers, musicians, etc, whose techniques and ideas are markedly experimental different from those generally accepted, and radical

Here is the song on YouTube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=68UPqsVhQAg

I have listened to it two times, and the last time [just a moment ago] I joted down the lyrics off the video screen.

I will type them into the posting block, and here are the lyrics to JC's beloved song:

Of Monsters And Men .. Dirty Paws .. My Head Is An Animal

"Jumping up and down on the floor
My head is an animal
And once there was an animal
It had a son that mowed the lawn

The son was an ok guy
They had a pet dragonfly
The dragonfly it ran away
But it came back with a story to say

Her dirty paws and furry coat
She ran down the forest slope
The forest of talking trees
They used to sing about the birds and bees

The bees had declared a war
The sky wasn't big enough for them all
The birds they got help from below
From dirty paws and the creatures of snow

And for awhile things got cold
They were scared down in their holes
The forest that was once green
Was colored black by those killing machines

But she and her furry friends
Took down the queen bee and her men
And that's how the story goes
The story of the beasts with those four dirty paws.

The lyrics kinda made me scratch my head.
I think the song writer wanted me to scratch my head.

The first two paragraphs told me immediately that I was in Mother Goose Land.

I mean what on earth (?) could these lyrics actually be saying:

"Jumping up and down on the floor
My head is an animal
And once there was an animal
It had a son that mowed the lawn

The son was an ok guy
They had a pet dragonfly
The dragonfly it ran away
But it came back with a story to say"

.. lol .. I will tell you what I think it means [/smile .. you may disagree], I think JC's beloved song means this:

We have a moral obligation to vote the Donk Party out of power come this November and vote in some hard-nosed
Conservatives. Furthermore I think the song means that we need to demonstrate our appreciation for the United
States Constitution and that we ought to pray for the continued existence of the U.S. Congress AND for the continued
existence of the American Democratic Republic. That's what I am convinced the song means. .. lol ..

I feel certain that the song does NOT mean that to JC.

But the song does cause JC to ""bounce with exuberance."
Now excuse me gentlemen, it is Sunday evening which now I wish to spend with my husband, watching Olympic games, etc.
I hope it will be a very pleasant evening.

My wife and I spend almost every evening together in our Living Room listening to soul-stirring music videos and/or viewing up-lifting movies.
We start about 8:00 P.M. and continue until about 10:30 P.M., then off to bed.

I just bought the opera Don Pasquale and it arrived in the mail a couple of days ago, and we have already viewed the first and second acts.
It was really quite enjoyable. Anna Netrebko as Norina and John Del Carlo as Don Pasquale. It was a Met performance. Outstanding.
We'll finish it up tonight, Lord willing.

Cheers.

I have questions:

You tell you understand them. Can you show us that you understand them? Telling is one thing and showing is another.

You think you are good fruit inspector. What makes you to think that?

Also, I hope you try to uncover also the good in people.

Jcgood,

It seems we are running a special right now. Your vacation ban has been upgraded from 7 days, to permanent.

Go take your martyr complex and manipulation tactics somewhere else.
